DIY Glow in the Dark Star Purse: How I Made My Hilary Duff Concert Bag

When I decided what to wear to Hilary Duff’s Lucky Me Tour, I knew I wanted an accessory that was just as fun and nostalgic as the concert itself. So instead of buying a purse, I decided to make one! I created a clear crossbody bag covered in glow-in-the-dark stars, and it ended up being one of my favorite parts of my entire concert outfit. After sharing a Reel of myself making it, I got SO many questions about where I found the supplies and how I put everything together. So, if you’re looking for a fun DIY concert accessory, a nostalgic Y2K-inspired purse, or just want to make your own glow-in-the-dark star bag, here’s everything you’ll need to recreate mine! (IMPORTANT NOTE: Do NOT hot glue the stars to the plastic bag itself if you want to add them like I did, only hot glue them to the strap! Use regular glue or adhesive to adhere them to the plastic; the hot glue might melt your bag!) Tap the image below to shop!

Have the absolute BEST time at the concert… it truly is what dreams are made of! ❤ (hey, hey, hey!)

XO, Kara
