He finally popped the question, so now its my turn! Over the last 5-10 years Bridesmaid & Groomsmen proposals have become a fun tradition that a lot of couples have picked up! I have honestly researched bridesmaid proposals on Pinterest for YEARS, because of course it has to be perfect! Some ideas are really cheesy or overdone, so I wanted to make sure what I give my girls is special & memorable! Today I’m sharing exactly what I have my girls & sharing a few tips for you to keep in mind when picking out your perfect proposal idea!
My #1 Tip: Give them something they can use! Practicality is key! A lot of proposals I’ve seen on Pinterest are basically a box of junk! No one wants to receive things they just end up throwing out later! I am not a clutter bug, so I always take this into consideration!
Example: I chose to go with a “self-care” theme! Face masks, Rose, floral hair tie, etc. Things they can use for themselves, not just for the wedding festivities!
Tip #2: Don’t over do it! Remember, this is just for fun! Save your bigger ideas for their actual presents that you will give them at the Rehearsal Dinner. I know its easy for me to get carried away, so I have to stop and remind myself that I need to save some of the bigger, more expensive ideas for closer to the wedding!
Tip #3: Presentation is everything! Even if you can only spend a few dollars, that’s totally okay! Tying a big bow, or personalizing the gift box or bag is a nice way to add a little something extra! Like I always say, it’s all in the details!
Tip #4: If you’re a Bride, no matter how much time you have before your wedding, start shopping now! I have found so many “Valentines Day” gifts/bags/boxes that are perfect for wedding festivities! The boxes I used for my proposals were out exclusively for Valentines Day!
